Puneeth Rajkumar’s Anna Bond is one of the much awaited movies of 2012. Directed by Duniya Soori, the movie revolves around Bond Ravi (Puneeth Rajkumar) who gets public recognition by helping the people in need. So, people fondly call him as Anna Bond.

Chapathi Babu (Rangayana Raghu) accompanies Anna Bond in his activities. One day Anna Bond happens to meet Meera (Priyamani), and a gang of goons headed by Charlie (Jackie Shroff). Anna Bond falls in love with Meera. How Anna Bond balances everything forms the rest of the movie.

Anna Bond is an action flick. Nidhi Subbaiah plays another female lead in the movie. The movie has been produced with a whopping budget of Rs.12 crores. The movie also has lot of graphics to support the narration.

Major portions of the film were shot in Bengaluru, Coorg and Kanakapura. Two song shoots were shot in Spain, and one song was shot in Malaysia.

Anna Bond is the 80th movie to be produced under Dr. Rajkumar's production unit, Poornima Enterprises. Shashidhar Adapa is the art director. Sathya Hedge is the cinematographer. Imran Sardhariya is the choreographer.

Harikrishna has scored the music. The audio launch of the movie was held in a grand manner on April 2. The music album contains 5 songs. ‘He is Anna Bond’ is the title song. ‘ Boni agadha Hrudayana Hoovina Angadi’, ‘Kanadante Mayavadhenu Namma Shiva Kailasa,’ ‘Thumba Nodbedi’ are the remaining songs in the movie. The songs are penned by Yogaraj Bhat, Jayanth Kaikini and Kaviraj.
