Varun Is No Longer A Loafer

Here's the big news. Puri Jagannadh, in his birthday special media meet, revealed that his upcoming film with Mega hero Varun Tej will not be titled as Loafer. Jagan said that he will opt for a new title which will have a similar effect to that of Loafer. Jagan also said that he will reveal the title at the right moment.

While the reason behind Jagan's sudden change of plans for the title is not known,  many are wondering if Jagan is consciously avoiding Loafer, as it sounds slightly negative. Jagan is highly famous for his negatively heroic titles like Idiot, Desamuduru, Pokiri etc.

Interestingly, all these films with negative titles were highly successful and the heroes careless characterizations were a huge hit among the fans, Pokiri being a solid example. Loafer has completed the shooting part and the unit will wrap up the patch work soon. At Jagan's speed, there's no doubt that Loafer will be ready by October, even before Kanche's release.
