Gautham Menon is known for his jet-speed progression of working pattern over shooting his films. The director doesn’t go for more than three takes, even if it’s not to the level as he chooses the bests out of them. While his Hindi remake of ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’ titled Prem Katha (Prateik Babbarand Amy Jackson) is close on the heels of completion, his Tamil film Neethaane En Ponvasanthamis done with the first schedule.
Starring Jeeva and Samantha in lead roles, Santhanam joins hands with Gautham Menon for the first time while A.R Rahman scores music.
The first schedule was wrapped up within short span of time and major portion of it was canned in and around the locales of Chennai.
Gautham Menon Registers for a New Job
Gautham Menon has the habit of dubbing for some actors in the films he directs. He mostly dubs for the villain characters. Gautham Menon has been dubbing right from the film Kaaka Kaaka toPacchaikili Muthucharam. He has also dubbed for an actor in the film Veppam produced by him.
Since there is a great demand for his voice, he is getting lots of offers from other directors. Gautham has now chosen a film in which he will dubbed. He has dubbed for the villain character in this film. Bollywood actor Milind Somanhas donned that villain role. Since there is a rule that only the members of the Dubbing Artists Association can dub in the films, director Gautham Menon has now become a member in the association.
